Stockie Barcode Labels Privacy Policy. This page is ready
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Stockie Barcode Labels (the "App") is provided by Plutonian ("we", "us", "our") and offers services ("the Service") to merchants who use Shopify for their online stores. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App with your Shopify-powered store.
The App requests only permission to read and write products. The information we can access from your Shopify account is therefore limited to:
The App does not request or receive access to your customers, your orders, your store locations, or your store's physical or billing address. We never see your customers' personal information.
We also store the information you create while using the App:
If you connect a Stockie Inventory Management account, the App uses the read-only token you supply to retrieve purchase order data from Stockie on your behalf. This may include purchase order numbers, supplier names, statuses, receipt dates, product and variant titles, SKUs, barcodes, cost prices, and quantities. These are supplier purchase orders, not customer orders. The App only reads this data; it never sends your App data to Stockie.
We use the information collected to provide and operate the App. Specifically, we use it to:
We do not use your information for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers, and the App contains no advertising or cross-site tracking technology.
We share information with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf solely to operate the App:
We may also disclose your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
While the App is installed, we retain your label templates, print history, and settings so that the App can function.
When you uninstall the App, we immediately and permanently delete your label templates, your print history, your Stockie integration and the API token you supplied, and all Shopify access tokens and staff session records.
We keep a limited record of your store after you uninstall: your store's name, email address, currency and timezone; your trial start date and monthly label usage, so that reinstalling the App does not reset your free trial or usage allowance; your barcode format settings; and the names and email addresses of staff users who used the App, which we keep so that we can contact you about the App. We retain this information for no longer than 24 months after uninstall. You may ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@plutonian.io, and we will do so.
